Flight Information

Missions:

For all planned missions, weather will be the determining factor if the flight/mission will take place the day that we schedule it for. It is highly recommended that you have alternate dates available in the eventuality that the mission needs to be rescheduled. Airspace authorization may also come into play, depending on the area.

Once the mission has been scheduled, the weather forecast will be monitored daily for the planned operations area to ensure that the mission can take place. You will be updated regularly so that you know of any possible delays or changes that may need to be made.

FAA regulations prohibit sUAS operations under the following conditions:

  • The mission area is in Restricted Airspace

  • Where prohibited by law.

  • Temporary Flight Restriction is in effect in the area of operations.

  • Visibility is less than 3 statute miles

  • Cloud are too close from the planned operations area.

  • Operations over people

  • Operations over moving vehicles

The Remote Pilot in Command will have the final say as to whether the mission will be done on the scheduled day or not based on conditions at the time.
